About DC Stars Hockey Club
The DC Stars High School Hockey Club is open to every student who attends a high school within DC that does not have its own hockey team. Students do not have to reside in the District, just attend a school there. The team has had players from dozens of different schools over the 20+ seasons that it has competed in the Maryland Scholastic Hockey League (MSHL), and can provide instruction, equipment, and financial support if needed. We play under USAH guidelines and use USAH certified coaches.
DC Stars is currently fortunate to be able to skate both a Varsity and a Junior Varsity squad, competing separately in the Montgomery Hockey Conference (MHC) of the MSHL. The JV team was new for the 2022-23 season and is proud to have a full roster, drawing from alumni of the Deal Middle School Ducks, the Fort Dupont Cannons, the Georgetown Titans, and a number of other programs.
